Tecnologic TLZ 11 and TLZ 11 P
4-digit on/off thermostat with a control relay (OUT), optional alarm relay (AL), one PTC/NTC probe and a digital input, for heating or cooling.
What it is: Heat/cool thermostat. The TLZ 11 P (high-temperature) version uses the same parameters but takes a Pt1000 or high-temperature NTC probe (SEnS = Pt10 or Entc, default Pt10).
Key combo: Hold P for about 5 s for the parameters. Power up while holding P for the hidden level.
Tecnologic TLZ 11 and TLZ 11 P error codes
| Code | Meaning | Likely cause | How to reset |
|---|---|---|---|
| E1 / −E1 | Probe fault | Probe open or shorted, or reading outside the allowed range | OUT follows tonE / toFE. Check wiring and the probe. Clears once the reading is valid. |
| EEPr | Memory error | Internal memory fault | Check and re-enter the parameters. |
| od | Power-on delay running | od time counting after power-up | Information only. |
| HI | High temperature alarm | Above SP + HAL | Clears below the threshold less dAL. |
| LO | Low temperature alarm | Below SP − LAL | Clears above the threshold plus dAL. |
| AL | Digital input alarm | Input set as external alarm (diF = 3) is active | Clears when the input returns to normal. |
How to enter service / parameter mode
- Hold P for about 5 seconds until the SET LED lights and the first code shows.
- If a password is set (PASS), 0 shows with the SET LED flashing: enter your password with up/down and press P.
- Hidden level (all parameters, and the way to read a forgotten PASS): switch off, hold P, switch on still holding P, and keep holding about 5 s.

How to change and save a setting
- Pick a code with up/down and press P: the code and value alternate.
- Change it with up/down and press P to store.
- Leave it about 20 s, or hold up or down, to exit.
- In the hidden level, press U to toggle a parameter between visible (SET LED on) and hidden (off).
Other useful key presses
| Task | How |
|---|---|
| Change set point | Tap P (SP alternates with value), adjust with up/down, tap P or wait 15 s |
| On / stand-by | Press U (with USrb = 1). The unit keeps its state through a power cut |
| Copy settings | KEY 01 programming key; see its own instructions |
Notes
- OUT LED flashing means the output is being held off by a delay (PtC or od).
- AL LED flashing means the alarm has been silenced.
- The 12 V version needs its own isolating transformer (one per controller) because supply and probe input are not isolated.
