Eliwell FREE Smart (SMP/SMD) cold room application
Cold room control on the FREE Smart platform: temperature, defrost, evaporator fans, humidity, thermal profile programs and alarms.
What it is: Programmable controller, cold room app. Applies only when the FREE Smart is running Eliwell's standard cold room application; custom programs use different codes.
Key combo: esc + set together opens the menu; the parameter folders need the access code entered in PASS first.
Eliwell FREE Smart (SMP/SMD) cold room application error codes
| Code | What it does | Range | Default |
|---|---|---|---|
| E1 | Room probe (Pb1) fault | Probe reading out of range, open or shorted | Compressor runs on the ONT/OFT timed cycle; heating and temperature alarms off. Clears when the probe reads again. |
| E2 | Evaporator probe (Pb2) fault | Probe out of range, open or shorted | Defrost ends on time only; fans follow the compressor. |
| E3 | Humidity probe (Pb3) fault | Probe out of range or faulty | Humidity control and humidity alarms switched off. |
| E4 | Cut-off feedback probe (Pb4) fault | Probe out of range or faulty | Cut-off output held off or at full, as set by F20. |
| 01 | External alarm | Digital input set as external alarm is active | Clears when the input goes off; regulators may be locked per rLO. |
| 02 | Panic alarm | Digital input set as panic alarm (someone trapped) is active | Clears when the input goes off. |
| 03 | Door open | Door open longer than tdO | Clears when the door shuts. |
| 04 | Pressure switch alarm | Pressure switch input tripped | See the pressure switch settings in the manual. |
| 08 / 09 | High / low room temperature | Pb1 beyond HAL or LAL | Warning only. Clears once temperature is back inside the limit. |
| 13 | Defrost timeout | Defrost ended on time, not on end temperature | Warning only; needs a manual reset. |
| 19 / 20 | High / low humidity | Pb3 beyond HHA or LHA | Warning only. Clears once humidity is back inside the limit. |
| RTC | Clock error | Real-time clock fault | Timed defrosts and program start times stop working. See the installation manual. |
