Henny Penny Model 591 (electric) and 691 (gas) pressure fryers
Four-head pressure fryers with a digital timer/temperature control. A fault shows as an E- code with an alarm tone; any button silences it.
What it is: Pressure fryer. PFE-591 is electric, PFG-691 is gas. Codes match except E-20 (gas ignition only) and E-26 (electric only).

| E-41 / E-46 | Programming failure / memory write error | Control memory | Switch off and on, then re-initialise the control. Replace it if it stays. |
| E-47 | Analog converter or 12 V supply fault | I/O board or control board | Switch off and on; replace the I/O or control board. |
| E-48 | Input system error | Control cannot read its buttons | Re-initialise; replace the control. |
| E-70B | Power switch fault | Switch, its wiring or I/O board | Check the switch and wiring. |

How to enter service / parameter mode
- Level 2 programming: hold the PROGRAM button about 5 s and let go when LEVEL 2 appears.
Notes
- Re-initialising the control resets it to factory settings; write down the product settings first.
