Elitech ECS-06CX error codes
| Code | Meaning | Likely cause | How to reset |
|---|---|---|---|
| P1 | Cabinet probe fault | Probe open or shorted | Automatic once fixed. Compressor runs on Cy / Cn. Cy = 0 keeps it off; Cn = 0 with Cy above 0 keeps it on. |
| P2 | Evaporator probe fault | Probe open or shorted | Automatic. Defrost runs on id and Md. |
| HA | High temperature alarm | Cabinet above AU after Ad and dA | Clears below AU. Outputs unchanged. |
| LA | Low temperature alarm | Cabinet below AL after Ad and dA | Clears above AL. Outputs unchanged. |
| nP | No evaporator probe | Evaporator reading requested with P2 = n | Information only. |
| Er | Copy card failed | Bad contact or card | Reseat and repeat. |
| EP | Copy card does not match | Card holds data from another model | Use the right card or upload to it first. |
| rst | Reset done | Parameters reloaded from the copy card values | Information only. |
| oF / on | Keypad locked / unlocked | Light + rotate keys held 3 s | Hold both 3 s again. |
How to enter service / parameter mode
- Hold Set + rotate (down) for 3 seconds. The set light comes on (Pr1, user list).
- For every parameter keep holding to 7 s until L2 shows, then release: Hy appears (Pr2). If Pr1 is empty, nP shows first; keep holding.

How to change and save a setting
- Pick a code with light (up) or rotate (down) and press Set.
- Change with the same keys.
- Press Set to store and move on.
- Press Set + light, or wait 15 s, to save and exit.
Other useful key presses
| Task | How |
|---|---|
| Change set point | Hold Set 2 s, adjust, press Set |
| Show evaporator temperature | Tap the defrost (Rst) key |
| Manual defrost | Hold the defrost key 2 s |
| Reset to copy-card values | Hold Set + light 3 s until rst shows |
| Upload to copy card | Insert the card, hold light until uP, wait 3 s, remove, power-cycle |
| Download from copy card | Insert the card, hold rotate until do, wait 3 s, remove, power-cycle |
| Move a parameter Pr2 ↔ Pr1 | In Pr2 press Set + rotate on it. Decimal point off = now in Pr1 |
Notes
- Hot gas mode (td = in): compressor runs and the four-way valve output is on during defrost.
- Fans stop whenever the evaporator is warmer than FS (with P2 = y).
